The UIL has announced the biannual realignment for all Texas high schools. This is done so that schools are balanced in terms of attendance and geography.
Pflugerville has competed with the Austin ISD schools for the last two years and will continue through the end of this school year. But, in the Fall, we will be placed in a new district with old rivals from Williamson County.
The Panthers will return to Region II from Region IV and will be in District 16-5A along with Leander, Georgetown, Round Rock, Westwood, McNeil and Stony Point.
District 16 will play District 15 in the Bidistrict round of the playoffs and consists of: Austin, Akins, Anderson, Bowie, Westlake and Del Valle.
Connally has dropped back down to 4A this time and will be 16-4A along with Bastrop, Bryan Rudder, Elgin, Hutto, Manor and Hendrickson.
